Day 44 – Sharna

I work in the HIV sector in a non-legal role, and so there was no better place to complete my supervised legal training placement than HALC; the only dedicated community legal centre for HIV and Hepatitis C related legal matters in Australia.

Day 43 – Kanya

I’m Kanya, I was born in Burma. I don’t know exactly when as I have never had a birth certificate.

But everyone has to have a date of birth, so I chose 1 January 1989.

Day 42 – David Part II

It took another two years but Centrelink eventually admitted that they had breached the Federal Privacy Act, and have now promised to review their policies to amend their practices. They even sent me a letter of apology.
