Day 38 – Suki & Ayoub

Suki was separated from her son, Ayoub, for 14 long years, but she never lost hope that they would be reunited.

HALC solicitor Alex assisted Suki to apply for a Child Visa for Ayoub, and shortly after the visa was granted, Suki’s social worker sent this email:

“I would like to inform you that after 14 years of been separated, Suki last night at 11:00pm was finally reunited with her son, Ayoub! Suki’s other son is also very excited to see his brother, who he has never met. This will be the first time the two brothers meet.

I would like to thank you and appreciate all the efforts, support and assistance we get from you. You are one of the many special people who I admire their dedication and personality. And also Suki would like to thank you very much for your support to the happiness that she is living with now. In addition, Suki would like to apologize for her behaviour at times when the process became difficult and made her feel unsupported.”
