HALC is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm.
Our volunteer paralegals undertake all initial client intakes over the phone. They then discuss your matter with a solicitor, and if further information is required, may schedule an appointment for you. Due to our workload, and depending on the urgency and complexity of your matter, it may take 2-4 weeks for us to provide you with advice.
